The vehicle has is intended to be paired with a variety of different modules that could be used for towing either cargo or human passengers, depending on the style. This makes the vehicle seem more like a horse than a car and could revolutionize the future of transport by merging past elements with the latest technologies.

The DLR U-Shift modular electric vehicle was demoed by the creators with a variety of different modules and could showcase an autonomous design in future iterations.
