This period road test from the Road & Track archives features a comparison between the Toyota MR2 and the Pontiac Fiero. This article highlights the battle between these two mid-engine wonders, both on the road and track, and breaks down the performance specs. Check out the 8-page article below, and make your choice in the comments.
This comparison was in Road & Track’s annual road test issue for 1988. It found that the updated Fiero was better than the 1987 version in almost all metrics, but was still heavier, wider, and slower to react than the nimble Toyota MR2. Check it out here for reference and it will also be posted on the AW11 Toyota MR2 and Pontiac Fiero Model Pages and on upcoming listings.
