This 2010 Volkswagen Touareg is powered by a 3.0L V6 diesel engine and has 35,638 miles from new. Following a depth-meter test by the seller, the Biscay Blue exterior is believed to have received paintwork on its bumper covers. The vehicle is one of less than 300 made in this color with the Lux Limited Package, and it is equipped with factory 20 inch ‘Ayers Rock’ wheels. Diesel fixes were completed earlier this year, and the vehicle reportedly has a four-year/48k-mile emission warranty from that date. It offered in Delavan, Wisconsin by the selling dealer with a Carfax report and a branded New Jersey title.
The wheels are shown up close in the gallery, and paint-less dent removal has been performed to remove dings. The Lux Limited Package was meant to resemble the R50 package in Europe with sport front and rear facias, side skirts and 20″ wheels.
The interior features Anthracite Grey upholstery with Topaz white inserts. The Biscay blue is the only exterior color that got the turned metal trim on the interior, according to the seller. It is optioned with navigation, a back-up camera, Dynaudio, keyless access and start, xenon headlights, and tow hitch.
An oil change was completed and front and rear brake pads were replaced by the seller. A Wisconsin state inspection was also completed, and the seller says that vehicle runs well with no known issues.
The TDI recall proof of completion sticker is shown above, and is dated February 26, 2020.
The June 2020 Carfax report shows a manufacturer’s buyback/lemon law notification in July 2011. The report indicates no history of accidents or other damage, though it does note the buyback/lemon law a number of times, most recently from the Office of the Florida Attorney General. The branded New Jersey title states that the vehicle was returned to the manufacturer under a “lemon law or other proceeding.”
