BaT Auction: 32k-Mile 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL600

This 1998 Mercedes-Benz SL600 was first registered in California and was acquired by the seller in Nevada in November 2001. Now showing 32k miles, the car is finished in white over black and grey with a matching soft top and is powered by a 6.0-liter V12 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes the AMG Styling Package, a hardtop with a panoramic glass roof, Adaptive Damping System suspension, xenon headlights, AMG Monoblock wheels, a cellular telephone, and a CD changer. The hydraulic suspension was serviced in August 2019, and new spark plugs and filters were also installed. This R129 is now offered with a car cover, service records, factory manuals, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Nevada title in the seller’s name.

The cabin is trimmed in Exclusive Black leather (561A) featuring heated and power-adjustable seats with grey inserts, matching door panel inserts and carpets, and burl wood veneer accents the dashboard, center console, shift knob, steering wheel, and doors. Features include a cellular telephone, a cassette stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer, and a retractable roll bar. The seller notes dead pixels on the digital automatic climate control display as demonstrated in the photo gallery.

An airbag steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, 7k-rpm tachometer, and a digital odometer showing 32k miles, approximately 25k of which have been added by the seller.
