This 2017 Ford Raptor was purchased new by the current owner and subsequently was sent to Hennessey Performance Engineering in Sealy, Texas and equipped with the VelociRaptor 500 package. Modifications to the turbocharged 3.5-liter V6 include a high flow induction system, a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, and an engine management upgrade, and power is sent to all four wheels through a ten-speed automatic transmission with a limited-slip front and electronically-locking rear differentials. The truck is finished in Magnetic over black leather, and additional equipment includes Hennessey VelociRaptor bumpers with LED lighting, Fox Racing remote-reservoir shocks, automatic climate control, and Ford’s Terrain Management System. An oil change was performed in March 2020. This VelociRaptor now has 22k miles and is offered on behalf of the seller’s father with factory literature, Hennessey documentation, a window sticker, a paint thickness report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title.
The truck is finished in Magnetic and features an aluminum body structure with a composite hood and fenders. Exterior modifications include VelociRaptor off-road bumpers with a brush guard and LED lighting in the front, and CarPro CQuartz ceramic paint coating was applied. A scratch is visible on the right-rear quarter panel, and photos of the body panels, trim, and a paint depth analysis can be viewed in the gallery.
The factory 17″ forged wheels are bead-lock capable and wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A K02 tires. The suspension is equipped with Fox Racing remote-reservoir shock absorbers, and braking is from four-wheel discs. Additional equipment includes trailer monitoring, backup assistance, and an integrated trailer brake controller.
The SuperCrew cab features front-hinged rear doors and seating for five that is upholstered in black leather. Amenities include power-adjustable front seats with Hennessy-branded headrests, a power-sliding rear window, automatic climate control, Ford Sync 3 infotainment, a 360°-view camera, and adaptive cruise control. Recall repairs to the interior heat shielding and rear seat belts were performed in June 2019.
Instrumentation consists of a 140-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and a central multi-function display. The digital odometer shows 22k miles.
The twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter EcoBoost V6 is modified with a Hennessey high-flow induction system, a stainless steel cat-back exhaust system, and engine management upgrade. A serialized plaque in the engine bay identifies the truck as the third VelociRaptor 500 built, and an oil change was performed in March 2020.
Power is routed to all four wheels through a ten-speed automatic transmission, a Torsen front differential, and an electronically-locking rear differential with 4.10:1 gearing. Additional photos of the underside and suspension can be viewed in the gallery.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Tomball Ford in Texas, equipment and options, and lists a total MSRP of $67,665.
The included dyno chart shows power increases over stock figures as a result of the Hennessey VelociRaptor 500 modifications.
