This 2004 Jaguar XK8 convertible was first titled in Missouri, and remained with a single registered owner prior to its acquisition by the selling dealer in June 2020. The car is finished in dark green over beige leather, and power is provided by a 4.2-liter V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes a tan power-operated soft top, wood interior trim, heated front seats, xenon headlights, 19″ wheels, front and rear fog lights, parking sensors, and an Alpine sound system. The convertible top hydraulic hoses were replaced in 2017, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale. This XK8 now has 63k miles and is offered at no reserve with factory literature, two keys and remotes, a Carfax report, and a clean Missouri title.
The exterior is finished in Jaguar Racing Green accented with gold pinstripes along with a tan soft top with a glass rear window. Equipment includes xenon headlights, front and rear fog lights, and parking sensors. Accidents in February 2005 and August 2012 are shown in the included Carfax report, though no further information is provided. The selling dealer notes that the right-front fender and left-rear quarter panel were repainted during prior ownership. Scratches are visible on the rear bumper, which can be seen along with other imperfections in the gallery below.
Factory 19″ wheels with Jaguar center caps are fitted with 245/40 Bridgestone Potenza tires in the front and 255/40 Cooper Zeon RS3-A tires out back.
The cabin is upholstered in beige leather with burl wood trim on the dashboard fascia, center console, and door panels. Interior equipment includes heated and power-adjustable front seats, automatic climate control, and an AM/FM cassette stereo with Alpine speakers and a trunk-mounted CD changer. Wear is visible on the front seats and the steering wheel.
A four-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel with burl wood inlays frames a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, an analog clock, and a combination gauge for fuel level and coolant temperature, while gauges for oil pressure and voltage are located in the center stack. The digital odometer shows 63k miles, less than 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 4.2-liter DOHC V8 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 310 lb-ft of torque when new, which is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed automatic transmission. The thermostat housing and coolant temperature sensor were replaced in 2018, and oil change and fluid check services were performed by the selling dealer in preparation for the sale.
