BaT Auction: 1958 Porsche 356A 1600 Coupe

This 1958 Porsche 356A 1600 is a Reutter-bodied coupe that was refurbished by Classic Showcase of Oceanside, California, before it was acquired by the current owner in 2015. The car is finished in silver over red upholstery, and power comes from a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes dual Zenith carburetors, polished hubcaps, and headlight stone guards. A May 2020 service reportedly included new engine gaskets, seals, and fluids. This 356A is now offered with refurbishment photos and transferable New York registration in the name of the current owner’s LLC listing the engine number as the VIN.
